ROBE CARE

Your Manao Anu change robe has been created with the best possible materials, but by following our change robe care instructions you will help extend it's life and keep it performing at its optimal best. 
Manao Anu change robes do not need to be washed regularly. A damp sponge or cloth will remove most all substances, such as sand or mud. As with any waterproof item of clothing. excessive washing should be as limited as possible. The reason for this being, the process could age the robe and affect its waterproof performance. 
Under no circumstances ever expose your Manao Anu change robe to any heat sources. Drying your change robe in this way could lead to it's signature inner lining losing it's warming and ability to quick-dry by pulling water from the skin. 
If absolutely necessary(for those super muddy/wet adventures), your Manao Anu change robe is machine washable. We recommend using a Guppyfriend Washing Bag to help retain the robes waterproof properties.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WASHING:

 

* MAX 30 DEGREE WASH - We recommend if possible a cold wash by hand.
* Turn your Manao Anu robe inside out and wash as mentioned earlier in a Guppyfriend Washing Bag. 
* NEVER hot wash. 
* NEVER expose to heat of any kind, i'e tumbledryer or iron
* NEVER use a fabric conditioner
* Once the spin cycle is complete we recommend laying your change robe flat or allowing to hang dry at room temperature.
 

Prevention of Microfiber Pollution

As mentioned earlier in the care instructions, please use a Guppyfriend Washing Bag, this will significantly reduce the amount of microfibers flowing into your drain.

 

By following all of the care instructions above you will extend the life of your change robe and keep it performing at it's best. At Manao Anu we recommend proper care of your change robe rather than buying another as an easy fix, this helps in a small way reduce your impact on the planet.

Each of our meticulously crafted robes is created using up to 90 recycled plastic bottles.
